Farrell Weiers, PhD, BCBA is a Child and Adolescent Psychologist licensed in the state of Missouri who has spent the last 25 years working with families and children. In her private practice, Behavioral Solutions, she specializes in psychological evaluations and therapy for children ages 2 – 19 years. Family First Center for Autism and Child Development is her brainchild and her passion.
Sara Kovac, MA, LPC, BCBA
Licensed Professional Counselor, Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Sara Kovac, MA, LPC, BCBA is licensed in the state of Missouri as a counselor and behavior analyst. She is also licensed in the state of Kansas as a behavior analyst. Sara provides ongoing supervision for behavior specialists and parent support for families. In addition, she is responsible for developing treatment plans and monitoring progress.
Wendy Walker, BCaBA
Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst
Wendy Walker is currently enrolled in a Masters level program in Behavior Analysis at the Florida Institute of Technology. Wendy assists with many day to day operations including parent support, reviewing and updating treatment plans, and providing support to staff.
Janet Walker-Downing, MS, BCBA
Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Janet Walker-Downing is licensed in the state of Missouri and Kansas. Janet has her Masters degree in Autism. Janet provides ongoing supervision for behavior specialists and parent support for families. In addition, she assists with many day to day operations.
Lead Administrative Team
Cindy Loelkes, Office Manager, is our Human Resources/Payroll Manager who handles any and all issues with the facility and staff.
Joan Jones, Lead Office Administrator, is our Receptionist who schedules appointments, manages the telephones, collects insurance co-pays, and schedules sessions at the Center.
All of our behavior specialists undergo a minimum of sixty hours of intensive training in the principles of ABA and effective teaching strategies using both classroom instruction and hands-on training. In addition, all staff undergo an extensive background check and meet the requirements of the Missouri Family Care Safety Registry prior to working independently with children. We have several behavior specialists who are licensed Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) or are enrolled in graduate programs working towards licensure in behavior analysis. In addition to initial training, all of our behavior specialists are provided with ongoing supervision and support.
